[ Personality ] :
Heather is... Well, she's officially described as a 'normal, carefree girl who just loves to shop', but god does that only slightly begin to describe this girl. Oh no, no...

Heather is first and formost a teenager. Oh, you know, she loves doing all of those normal teenager things. She goes to school, she goes to the mall and does all the shopping, doing really stupid things that she can only attribute from her personality, you know... being a teenager. She can come off as moody most of the time, and she can have such a short temper. Along with that, she can also be quick to give a snippy remark and she can also be quick to jumping to conclusions/decisions. There's another great thing with her personality is that she's... she has a slightly dark side to her humor. It's not as if she means to, just... it's probably not the best idea to try to pretend to stab the only living/sane person around you with a knife as a joke. Whoops. She's also incredibly expressive, and she will not hesitate to let people know how she's feeling, ho lord does she not.

Before she was Heather (Yes I'm not joking), she was two others. One half of herself was Alessa Gillespie, and then later as also Cheryl Mason.
First, let's talk about Alessa. Alessa unfortunately did not have the cherished childhood that Heather/Cheryl had, she was to be used by her mother to bring a new God into the world. Now, Alessa isn't your run of the mill child, either. She was born with abilities that centered around the psyche. She was never treated right, from both mother's perspective and how the schoolchildren would treat her just as poorly and rejected for being a "witch". She was practically alone, save for her childhood friend who she even revered to as a sister, Claudia Wolf. The two were so close because of their similar backgrounds (Yeah, they were both abused by a parental figure and both of them were considered 'witches' because of their unexplained powers) and the fact they came from the same religion) Alessa only wished for a loving family and friends and of course, Paradise. (Paradise itself is just the perfect world, where no one possessed hatred, cleansed of disease, and no one would ever die to old age and such. You know, the perfect world.) It's safe to say that Alessa was a pretty warm spirited child. She only wished to be loved by those whom she cared about and have shown her love and kindess. If you are able to show her that, she would in essence cling to them. It was honestly the only wish that she had for the world, other than for Paradise.

How does Cheryl fit into this entire situation? Whenever Alessa had turned seven years old, her mother initiated the ritual to bring about God. Basically... she tried to burn Alessa alive. It left her with burns, and the town's impression that she had died. Lovely mother, right? During the process, Alessa would end up splitting her soul to delay the arrival. The half of her soul would be Cheryl. Cheryl would be found and raised by Harry Mason and his late wife, and raised in the way that Alessa was only able to dream about being raised: With a loving family and home. Around the time Cheryl would turn 7 (Alessa would be 14 at the time), Alessa would have endured seven years of being locked in the basement of a hospital and a spell placed on her to keep her alive. Many would describe this a "fate worse than death", just because the deity living inside of Alessa was literally killing her from the inside (oh my god hello Twilight.) In fact, because Cheryl was being summoned to Silent Hill, she tried to convince her father to take a vacation to help his mind. THIS OBVIOUSLY WORKED, because they would go to Silent Hill. Alessa shows up in the middle of the road on the way into town tries to kill them makes Harry crash and whenever the poor guy would wake up he'd embark on Finding Cheryl looking for his missing daughter. Cheryl would end up finding her way back to Alessa, they would fuse souls again, bring the God to life, and Harry would defeat it. (because he's a badass) bada bing bada boom. Oh, also, the building they were in would be on fire and starting to break. AHAHA. After this happens, Alessa would reappear and give Harry her reincarnated self, who would be Heather. But, instead of instilling Heather with the memories that she had to endure, Alessa would spare her of that. Her memories would still be inside of Heather, but they would essentially be locked away. Alessa's final act before finally being able to finally die would be to save Harry and Heather from the building and the fire that was going on in the building. YEAH.

Now, there is one other incredibly moving factor for Heather. This one has been mentioned a few times already, but he is just as important as anything else. Her father, Harry Mason. Her father means the absolute world to her. He's taken her in and raised her as his own, especially after what had happened to Cheryl. The man had suffered the loss of his wife, then not long after the loss of his daughter. But it's not as if he was just going to keep on and act as if nothing had happened. In some points of her growing up, because of what Heather was, he had thoughts of removing her from the picture. But you know he never did, despite some of the bitterness and sadness that was associated with her. But at the same time, he couldn't let Heather go. Which is, again... really great.

Now Heather, while growing up had already shown a bit of the two girls in herself. It was really no surprise that the girl would bond to Harry, being that he was the only one around for her, and honestly? He gave everything for her. He would go to great lengths to protect her, and raise her right at the same time. While Heather is now a teenager and acting like a teenager, she still shows that some things her father' given to her, such as proving that she is a good person (she ... couldn't kill the murderer of her father, even when given the clear chance so many times), showing that she isn't as rough and tumble as she is by showing sympathy for those who deserve it and also she shows her dedication and love to her father by the way she reacts to his death. THIS GUY.... THIS GUY..... (cries)

She's also had some times in her past, bad or otherwise. Her past wasn't as great (Having to move a bit for various reasons, and the children she was reincarnated from still surface within her at times) and because of some influences with the past, it's made her a bit rebellious. As stated from the game, she's had a lot of experiences, such as taking the habit of smoking (which was something she successfully quit), she's done underage drinking before, shit she's even shoplifted. She's also not afraid to get snippy with whoever she wishes to, even if they're someone like a detective (one that she had actually believed was a stalker because of how much he wished to speak to her about her ~birth~ oohh). But as spoken before, she's not a bad apple! She's just... a teenager... who's experienced a lot in her past and present. Despite how rude and moody she can get (Blame it (mainly) on the teenage hormones ) shes not a bad apple out of the bunch. She shows her loyalty and friendliness as easy as she shows her moodiness. If you treat her like a person and not be incredibly rude to her, you won't get the rude treatment right back, you know... easy thinking.

It's not as if she's incredibly girly girly either, Heather does love getting into the girl things, but she also loves loves being tomboyish as well. She's shown how practical and smart she can be, such as mixing chemicals to kill off bugs (she could have totally stabbed them one by one, but she wanted to do something less time-consuming oops) that were blocking her pathway. She's also really smart when it comes to weaponry, and she would rather solve a problem with violence if she can than think it out. If action calls for action, she will easily rise to it with her own action. She's not afraid to get dirty at all, and I mean hell... she ran around half the time in a rusty/bloody setting, killing creatures and spilling their blood (to survive, of course! She normally wouldn't try to kill something/someone, she's not psychotic) and such.

But there is one thing worth mentioning. There's the subject of what going through Silent Hill has done to her and shown what she's capable of doing. First and formost there is her loyalty and what being hotheaded can do to her judgement. When her father's life comes to the unfortunate ending it did, she was obviously shaken by the event. Her first idea of what to do is to seek revenge, even when told that it might not be the best step. She isn't one to back down easily especially, even when it seemed to be the best idea. Hell, she has even spoken during the game that she has met her match from the nightmares, but it did not stop her from still trying to barrel through. When determined to fulfill an obligation (revengerevengerevenge) she will do her damndest to get it done, ESPECIALLY when it's for someone she's grown attached to. Along with that, during her run through Silent Hill, the memories that were locked away in her mind? They're slowly being lifted as she's traveling through, which most of the time they're pretty damn powerful to her. But even in Silent Hill, you can't take much time to writhe in pain as a memory migraine comes back, but it is so obvious that those whom she was before surfaces again.

It's safe to say that she's had to make a lot of grown-up decisions during the course of her experiences before and after coming to Silent Hill, even if she's able to retain the childish charm that she had before. The game does a lot to her, showing her that there are things not to be taken lightly, and it can all crumble down if you don't choose the right pathway. Losing the one person she was closest to, giving her new appreciation for those she loved, and showing her that if she continued to strive for what she believed in, she will be rewarded in good time... even if it isn't the reward she's looking for. The girl's able to leave Silent Hill with the everlasting memory and deep appreciation of those who are now gone, for those who are still with her, and what is important in life.

So you know, she's a teenager first and foremost, isn't afraid to get dirty if needed, has such issues with respecting unfamiliar people and such unless it's someone like... her father, will not hesitate to jump to defend her father's defense. (or anyone else she's grown fond of). Along with that, she's learned to appreciate those around her, discovering her own true self in a slight essence, and proving that she is able to put her issues to the side for what she believes is the right way to go at something.

Being the reincarnation of a poor tortured and abused girl and being offhandedly dragged into some shitty times because of this is hard and no one understands.

Also I'm a broken record ok SHHH.

[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
+ Pretty fucking bright when it comes to a lot of things. She's really good with various weaponry such as guns and swords and such, including that she's kept a knife on herself for protection/just because of how useful having one can be, and... well... weapons are pretty awesome. She might make some dumb mistakes or charge into things recklessly, but it's not like she's completely stupid either. She's just young, and her judgement can cloud her senses at times.

+ She's pretty courageous, but I mean hey... who wouldn't be considered courageous for being able to go through Silent Hill after your father died just because she was so determined to get revenge for his death. She could have stopped, she could have tried to quit (and died oops), but she did not. She continued to trek through until the very end.

+Speaking of that, she's also pretty loyal to those whom she trusts (Which is more rare than you'd think!). Despite her attitude problems and everything, she has that charm that her father had. A good example of that being shown is when Harry Mason (Her father) was talked wrongly about, Heather's quick to defend this man, along with that there's her overall reaction to her father's death and her need to seek revenge for his death in order to "make things right" (or so she thought that was the right way).
+ Size: If there's one thing size can be, it can be a blessing and a curse. Heather's easy to toss around with her size, but it also helps her be quick on her feet... when she's not trying to lug around mauls and use them. Which is obvious that... she's not that strong as she is quick. :| |: :|

- Various Fears/Phobias: Dude, she's got a few of them that oh man.... man... they can make her pretty 8|c in a flash. Those of which include having a fear of dogs, fire, mirrors, infants... you know, things like that.
- Attitude problems: HAHAHA. Heather's not afraid to speak her mind and be such a brat about it. She is a teenager after all, so this isn't such a surprise, but she's a good example of it. Since she's young, she's easy to be snippy at people whenever she means it or not, and hahaha... boy does she.
Especially at times when it comes to adults. Whoops, she sometimes acts like a brat to them (esp. unfamiliar figures) because she can and she doesn't carreeee, especially if they piss her offfff....
- Size: All things considered, Heather's 17 and she's not the tallest or buffest girl ever. She's brave as hell and quick as hell, but she's easy to get tossed around. And hurt. Yeah.

[ Other Important Facts ] :
Hey guys. Guys. Did you know. Blonds have more fun. (8 (but shes not a natural blond oops)

Also other facts, like uh... inventory, which for fucks sakes no she's not coming with EVERYTHING that was in her inventory post-game.

SO HERE'S WHAT WE'RE GIVING HER: Inventory's her Pendant (Given to her by her father, but it's lacking the Aglaophotis that was inside for obvious reasons), Flashlight, Map, Radio and Harry's Notebook AND JERKY. YES
Weapons are: Handknife, Stun Gun and Katana
[ Sample ] :

Genothider Tho 6:25 pm

heather is soaking wet in front of the coral
and idk
she is like
wat
the end
:D

[It's dark. It's incredibly dark.

... and wet?

Oh, wait. There's the light. SHIT THAT IS BRIGHT

Fuck. Deja vu all over again. This is just like when she woke up in the amusement park. Heather stands up, noting her clothes noticiably soaked. Eugh, not what she was looking for. She believes... this place isn't dangerous, with how bright and... colorful and cheerful it seems, but she can't help but keep on her guard. There's no telling when it could flip out and turn all rustic and gross and bloody. Eugh.

Out of one frying pan and into the other, it seemed.

She glances around, taking note of the impressive coral behind her. When she look back, she sees some towels and a ... pamplet. AWESOME SHE CAN GET ANOTHER MAP Moving towards them, she snatches one up to towel dry her hair, sticking the pamphlet into her pockets for the moment. WITH THAT DONE, she gives it a quick go-over, then goes onto another important thing to check.
]

[She fishes in her pockets, pulling out what she had. Oddly enough, most of it survived without getting too badly damaged, awesome. There were also a few more things in her pocket that weren't there before and there were some missing?

Uhhh........ okay, that's not creepy.
]

[One object in particular strikes her as really dang peculiar.

Now, this girl's pretty sharp, she can figure out real fast that this is a nifty little piece of technology, but she takes a few moments to get the buttons situated. With a few clicks, she activates the audio feed.
]

Hey--- is this thing really working?

[Whoa, that's kinda cool and it's compact! She does a bit more fumbling, and on screen there's a girl with blond hair in her late teens. Her face is splattered with freckles, towel around her neck, and she looks a little bit off-put by her surroundings, but tries to not look so worried.]

So I know for a fact I'm not where I'm suppose to be, [Unless Douglas really did go through shooting her OH MY GOD i mean no he would never.] this is probably pretty far from where I was before.

Where am I, exactly? I know that this is under the sea and it's called 'Vatheon', but where on Earth is it?

[Because obviously everyone knows what Earth shes talking about. YEAH.]

Also if there's an exit, I'd like to be pointed to it. As much as I love being the Little Mermaid, I need to get back [She hesitates, 'home'? Nah, there's not much home left for her. There is someone else, but...] soon.

[Yes.

With that she presses a few buttons, one of them cuts the feed because hurrr why would she waste time on here when she has to scope out stuff?
